Enhanced data consolidation and analytics for a developing country’s Bureau of Statistics by establishing ‘A Single Source of Truth’.
Addo, under the leadership of Dr. Faisal Kamiran, was awarded the contract for the development of an online statistical system in collaboration with the Bureau of Statistics of a developing country’s government. During the project Addo’s main focus was on the procurement and implementation of an end-to-end solution for master data management, and a business intelligence tool for reporting, visualization, and analytics.
The project included the consolidation of data from 12 different government departments to create ‘A Single Source of Truth’ thereby allowing data-driven decision making. The final product was a ‘Master Data Management System’ created through the implementation of at least ‘12 BI use-cases’.

Partnered with IsDB for the development of a COVID-19 command and control center for the Ministry of Health Indonesia.
The Ministry of Health in a Southeast Asian country sought to harness data and AI to combat COVID-19, monitor its transmission, and optimize resource allocation. Challenges included data transformation and workforce upskilling. In collaboration with IsDB, Addo developed an Intelligent Data Platform, integrated AI use cases for predicting patient stay, identifying at-risk individuals and hotspots, and provided specialized training in Data Science, Data Engineering, and Cloud to build in-house AI implementation capacity. The results included improved resource management, reduced COVID-19 spread risk, and effective crowd management policy-making, demonstrating the power of data and AI in public health crisis response.

Provided a leading Asian telecom with scalable AI solutions to automate their call center quality and audit management system.
A leading Asian telecom company aimed to improve their manual and time-consuming call center quality audit process, lacking scalability and feedback. Addo devised an efficient and scalable solution comprising AI engines (speech and language analysis), integration, and a dashboard. These AI engines transcribed and evaluated calls, detecting tones and generating scores. The integrated dashboard displayed key call center KPIs, ranking agent performance, and offering personalized feedback through a Training Portal. The result was a significant reduction in audit hours, increased audits, improved agent training, enhanced customer care quality, and actionable insights from interactive dashboards, ultimately leading to greater customer satisfaction.

Pioneered the first-of-its-kind Crime Investigation and Prevention Lab at ITU: Advancing Crime Pattern Discovery, Enhancing Surveillance and Crime Analytics, and Data-Driven Solutions for Crime Prevention.
Dr. Faisal Kamiran is the Director of the Crime Investigation and Prevention Lab at ITU which provides a platform for research, development and implementation of data-driven solutions for crime pattern discovery and optimal surveillance. The Lab is developing an integrated data repository by combining relevant information from multiple heterogeneous resources to private high-speed computing infrastructure for real-time crime analytics and suspect identification. CIPL’s goal is to achieve predictive policing by analyzing socio-economic and Spatio-temporal factors, mapping criminal activities and determining patterns associated therein. In long term goals, the lab would assist other public and private institutions for the use of machine learning and data analytics for trend analysis.
